Every 5 minutes or so, whenever I am working in the blueprint editor, my right click to “scroll” does not work. It turns into a “selection” tool that drags and selects nodes. I’ve tried resetting project and editor settings in the “Edit” menu, but this only works for about 5 minutes before the same bug repeats itself. I’ve even tried moving my project over to a different version of the editor, but the same thing happens. Someone suggested that I am holding down “Alt” or “Shift” on my keys but that isn’t happening either. Any suggestions?
Please check your mouse because it registers the left mouse button (selection) instead of the right mouse button (panning). Maybe it’s worn out?
No, that hasn’t worked either, this is the only program that I have had this problem with. I’ve even tried a few different mice and reinstalled my firmware for my mice. Neither solves the problem.
I have had this issue happen many times before but it always occured when I am using PIE and “eject” from the controller, move some stuff around or do whatever and then don’t go back and possess the pawn before exiting the level with the ESC key. And I could always fix it by simply restarting the PIE and hit ESC right after problem solved. Not sure why it happens, but the solution was simple in my case. Any chance you are using PIE and doing some runtime debug watching the BP fire or something like that before this happens?
