How can I config UE to only show me Projects that match the version of the app I’m in?
I currently bounce between 5.2.1 and 5.3 and can’t tell you how many times I opened the wrong version of the project(s) I’m working on - very frustrating.
If I startup UE5.3, then only show me Projects for 5.3, etc.
If I need to convert one of my 5.2.1 projects to 5.3, I’ll just browse to it directly.
Hello John,
It is possible to sort all projects by version. (This is the popup that shows after starting up 5.x directly)
But, If I have different versions of the same project - what I like to do is create a 192x192 png, and place it in the same directory as the .uproject with the same name as the .uproject. This will create a thumbnail.
Then inside of the thumbnail I’ll write ‘4.26’ etc somewhere.
Hope that helps!

Excellent suggestions! I’ll give them a try. Thanks for quick reply.
