How to filter in the World Outliner for objects using nanite

Hey hello,

is there any way to create a custom filter in the World Outliner to filter for objects, that have nanite enabled in the current scene?

Thanx for any help!

Hi @stoobz_TKMS !

Unfortunately unreal doesn’t offer a built in Nanite filter. But you can use tags and search for those.

  • In the World Outliner ight click a mesh with nanite and select add a tag and name it.
  • Once you name all the meshes you can search for that tag in the World Outliner search bar.

The downside of this is that if you have several meshes it could take some time to manually tag them

Hope it helps!

Thanks @BRS_Pat !

I was just wondering - if it is possible to filter the content browser, why shouldn´t it work in the world outliner?

Anybody with experience in this?
Cheers!
