Hi,
I have some Laser Scans that i am trying to pair with photogrammetry, the scans are very precise and include an underneath scan of the object that the photogrammetry did not capture too well, it was photographed also but would likely need to be manually projected onto the object’s surface, as the object was flipped upside down in the scene to capture this, making the background inconsistent with the rest of the data, As photographing the underside was infeasible at the time of the shoot.
In my laser scans, there are some small gaps in creases/corners that the scanner couldn’t get into, but aside from this the scan data is perfect.
I am pairing this with Photogrammetry to try and generate a nice accurate textured mesh.
Using the default Generate mesh settings, I get some errors being introduced by the photogrammetry process. Is there a way to generate the mesh from the scan data alone or perhaps weight the preference between the laser/image point cloud data as is being used to generate the mesh?
