How to do day and night cycle of a city?

How would one hande a day and night cycle in this engine with a city area that has interiors… not just terrain? Seems like the baked lighting is a huge draw back …

ill take a look, but my project is vr based… so i cant use any of that fancy stuff since framerate has to be high at all times. Not to mention not everything works with vr.

Could you create a timeline and have it fluctuate the light attached to your sky sphere? I haven’t tried it but might be able to rotate it as well.

he has a simple and a complex day night. the complex one uses less than .5 ms in my project

well, just like in real-life: during the day, the light of the interiors are off: done.
during the night either the player or the level-designer switches on internal lights of the interiors.: done.
