How to credit Unreal on images made with Unreal? 4-26

Hi,
I wanted to ask how to copyright images that you render with Unreal engine? Or specifically how to credit unreal the right way?

The Creator EULA has a clause on copyrighting (please see at the end of the message) and I think it is great for Games etc. but it is a little heavy / too long for a single image.

For example, you could make a 3D Visualization image of a car or other product and obviously you would like to put your own copyright such as “copyright c MyName” and I have no issue of adding “Made with Unreal” of similar short statement to it.

The issue is that the EULA asks us to credit Unreal with the long 2-3 line copy notice “to the extend such product has credits” so the question really is a “legal detail”.

Unreal is great and I love to Credit it but can we Credit it with something shorter when it is a single image?

The Creator EULA states that:
"
You agree to place the following notices in the credits (replacing xxxx with the current year) for any Product, to the extent such product has credits:

[Product name] uses the Unreal® Engine. Unreal® is a trademark or registered trademark of Epic Games, Inc. in the United States of America and elsewhere

Unreal® Engine, Copyright 1998 – xxxx, Epic Games, Inc. All rights reserved.

Hi I emailed Unreal branding department and they send me a great reply that solved the issue.
Please see a quote from the email below:

So sorry for the delay in reply. You are correct - the lines below only apply to products that have credits, e.g., in most cases this is games, immersive experiences, and films.

If you’re using images rendered in Unreal Engine in your marketing, website, etc. then there is no obligation to cite that. Of course, if you would like to denote that an image or video is rendered in Unreal, that is totally fine. We don’t require the trademark or registered trademark symbol for that sort of thing. You can just say Unreal Engine, Unreal Engine 4, or Unreal Engine 5 - whichever you prefer.

Hope that clears things up. Let me know if you have any other questions.
