Hi! I have built an animated door with UCX_ prefix collision geometry and exported it from Maya LT but when I import this file to Unreal it does not recognize the UCX collision. I’ve been searching quite a bit for a solution but maybe I’m just not entering the right key words. There must be other people out there trying to put collision on an animated object. Are there any good tutorials out there or some documentation?
I’ve also got a stone sarcophagus with a lid that’s sliding off to the side and then tipping over and dropping down. That’s a more complex animation that can’t easily be reproduced in engine… I’ve read about some socket thing being mentioned but without elaboration. It’s not clear to me how to use that.
I’m on unreal engine 5.0. Would love some pointers if anyone has any.
Cheers!
