When i add the Cassini sample project to my library. i don’t see a way to create a project from it. What am i missing?
Is that EPICs free Cassini?
With such educational/tutorial projects they usually make standalone project, no need to add it. Instead you create project from downloaded package.
Also your marketplace library may require refreshing after you downloaded it from fab.

I just added it in fab to my library.
Then refreshed “Fab Library” section in unreal launcher.
And now i can create project from Cassini package.
I must be missing something, i can see the file in my library, but there is no way to create project from it. I assume you mean the library that shows in the launcher next to the fab tab.
Make sure you have compatible unreal engine installed.
And press that refresh fab tiny icon in library tab.
Or you can go to folder where project is downloaded and copy/unpack to folder where you keep projects. then run it manually from that folder.
