How to create a stong lightsource?

In my example, I want to create a lighthouse scene, with a strong light beam rotating. Which way can I do it? I tried with spot light but it doesnt produce any beam or strong light and it totally disappers when my camera is far away.

You may need to create an effect in Niagra to do that.

Another option could be using a rotating static mesh with a translucent and emissive material, if you are using world partitioning you need to keep your object always loaded if you want to see it from a long distance
