What a day) two questions about zooming from the same person)
Have you tried this?
You will find that there is the same handling.
Copy and pasting answers won’t help me, i use Top Down not 3rd/First Person angles. I need to zoom TO the character and rotate around him.
Check out the SmoothZoomPlugin I created… Should work for you just fine…
If you need any help with installation, I’ve got a discord channel… see in the forum thread.
Good luck.

Please do not mark both as completed… I would delete the other answerhub post and work with this one. Thanks!
Hi, since this thread is the first one that comes up when you google for a solution for a neat scrolly camera movement-
C++ plugin is awesome, but if for whatever reason someone might wanna prefer blueprints - i sat down and prepared a nice bowl of spaghetti that should get the job done more or less. (in my case i’m working with a relative x axis camera location - but a spring arm target arm length would work just as well)
please feel free to optimize - since i’m not a particularly good coder lol
(incase the link is dead, i’ll attach a .txt file that you should be able to just copy-paste)
