How to create a depression on a round face?


I want to model this for a game:

But how? oO I want at least 3 depressions in the middle for the balls.

you are not sub-modelling? why not? its much easier

That mesh will sub-divide fine. There wont be any artifacts or issues. Wasn’t sure how you were going to use the result so I made something that could be used as a low poly model or be used for sub division.

If you want to bake the high poly sub divided model to a low poly model and use a normal map.

Oh, no, i need the holes as a mesh, not as a normal map. :slight_smile: thanks
