Hi
I am happy to work with blueprint or C++. I am looking for a workflow that I can create 100s of unique characters that support facial animation.
I would like to use morphs to allow facial customisation, and I understand facial animations are generally done via morph targets, like ARKit/ FACS morphs. However after applying a base set of customisation morphs, applying facial expression morphs result in clipping. For example upper eyelid will clip lower eyelid.
Are there any ways of doing facial animations with morphable faces?
Every article I’ve seen on facial animations has been tied to a single character face shape.
Note: As I understand for Metahuman workflow, it would take at best a couple of days to get the desired character look with rigging, so using Metahuman seems unfeasible for large scale character customisation.
