How to copy or export Custom Launch profile from the project launcher

Hi, I would like to copy or export a custom launch profile I made in my computer for our proyect so I can share it with my team mates, however that option doesn’t seem to be available when I right click the profile from the project launcher.

So is this possible? Or is a missing feature?

I know I can go ahead and create a profile over and over again in each computer, but if I change the profile in the future each change would need to be done locally so it’s not comfortable for the team.

Thank you in ahead.

I’d like to know the answer to this as well. I assumed it would be somewhere in Saved/Config but couldn’t find anything.

Well, I found a workaround that is not perfect but is better than the alternative, you would need to close the engine and go to …\Engine\Programs\UnrealFrontend\Profiles and in there you will see your profiles, duplicate the one you like and then open the copy using notepad and change the “ID” code for whatever code (The reason is because Unreal will discard the 2nd profile if it has the same ID) save it and there you go, the profile was duplicated in the same engine (good thing about this is that you can modify only one variable to one of the profiles and be sure everything else remains the same). And to export it to another computer you would just need to copy/paste the profile in the other computer, and as long as the IDs are different there shouldn’t be a problem.
I hope that helps!

thanks, works fine

Thank you, this did indeed work on UE5 as well, and you don’t need to edit the maps in notepad. You can open Unreal Project Launcher Edit Settings and check box check the maps you want to include. It worked great thanks for the solution… Epic games please add a duplicate button to do the same, thank you good sirs.

I wish both this and Fonts were project-specific, so you don’t have to move the every time you update the engine.
