How to convert a face mesh to metahuman rig

Hello.
I’m trying to use the MetaHuman auto rigger with a face mesh that doesn’t have the same proportions as a human’s face (a hamster). The “Track Markers” function generates invisible markers below the entire frame. Toggling visibility on the markers produces an error stating that the template mesh associated with the promoted frame has not been aligned.

TLDR; I want to use a custom face with different proportions with MetaHuman and LiveLink
