I have different areas that I want people to spawn in depending on the round, but I can’t seem to figure it out. I am trying to use the rounds settings device, but it won’t work. Am I missing a link or a setting?
No, unfortunately there is not much in settings to make it happen.
I don’t know how well the spawnpads deal with stuff recently, but from prior experience disabling/enabling spawnpads is (was??) useless across rounds.
By the time a round setting device enables/disables the spawns you want, the player has already been assigned a spawnpad on round start, making that way inneffective.
enabling/disabling spawns on the end of the previous round doesn’t work because they reset and the setting doesn’t hold on round change.
You do have options though,
Either use teleporters to teleport players from spawning on round start,
use your round settings devices to enable/disable the correct teleporters for the round.
and maybe then disable/enable the spawns for respawning after round start.
Maybe set the the different areas spawnpad priority lower than the round/game start spawnpads, then disable the higher priority round start spawnpads (and other areas), so they can respawn at the desired area in that round.
Or use spawnpads that have different Class Settings for the different areas, it also gives you the ability to use the class loadout and use a different loadout each area.
so make area 1 spawns as class 1 and make all players class 1 to spawn there.
area 2 as class 2, etc etc.
