How to Change Player "looks" based on what is selected in hot bar.

Hey!
I am going to keep this short and simple. I am making a top-down advanced real-life graphics/survival game, where you loot and collect different guns, knives, etc… I know how to set up an inventory system but how can I make it so my character changes its looks based on the item. Like when it holds a gun the character is holding a gun, same for knife etc…

Also, side note: My character is a basic skeletal mesh its NOT 2D game it still uses 3d.

I couldn’t find anything online, hopefully I can get an easy answer that’s not to complex but I think ue4 should take a step to make everything character related to be more simple. Unity is way better with characters. Ue4 you cant even make your own on the program.
