How to Change Image Shown on Player Map

Double checked and triple checked. Here’s a screenshot:

Shows each map referenced and the correct Primal loaded in.

Is there any other setting which would need to be toggled or referenced for them to override the vanilla maps?

Does anyone here know of a good way to generate a map for use ingame? my map is far to large to hand draw a map for it and i have the artistic skills of a toddler

You could try using some form of “thing” that takes an image and turns it into like a cartoon/sketched render. Then tweak the image in photoshop or something…

ugh getting a good picture of my map is nearly impossible due to the size, atm my overview map uses 50 images cut together, and it doesnt look good

LOL there is a button to get the world image in the editor.

Look at your levels tab, last little icon, “summon world composition” shows you a “sky view” of your map lol … what the **** is this cut and paste stuff? ppl do soo much extra work to get a simple task that’s a click of a button.

I hope your joking angry world comp or the level streaming tab does not give you a good overview at all, atleast not for me but i heave a very advanced level streaming setup as required by my map size

No idea really, you’d need a pretty high resolution to obtain a decent top-down view at any rate, I don’t know if 4K would cover it. It probably would, but unless you have a 4K monitor already and have tried or don’t have one then I don’t think it’s worth it just to try haha.

It works amazing for me. Thats how Exilog gets his as well.
Yes, I’m on a 4K Ultrawide monitor. Does that matter? Nope. I switched to check and it looks exactly the same.
I am not sure what your “advanced” (lulz, same as anyone elses) level streaming has to do with the summon world composition button. I mean, its exactly what its for, so, im not sure why you would have an issue using it.

This is all i get when i have the world comp loaded, http://grab.by/O5nm it just looks horrible due to its size

wow … that is … not great. lol

yeah man i wasnt joking haha, hence the photoshop i feel it looks way better even if not a 100% accurate

yeah - i have been debating on what to do about the accuracy issues. Has anyone found out how to make the location actually be your location? My “Mid-spawns” are like below the southern boarder of the map lol (as per the little blue faded circle when selecting a spawn point)
