how to change ai execution (behaviour trees / tasks) from blueprints

hi
need some guidance to get on my way again please
what is the interface between blueprints and AI?
how would you get ai behaviour trees or ai task blueprints to change way of execution based on execution / what is happening in common blueprints?
ie how can common blueprints communicate or direct ai behaviour trees or tasks?
(very general answer would suffice)
