How to change a platforms Z-output based on my character equipping boots

Hello, I ve been trying to find a solution to this problem but havent seem to have been able and I hope I ll be able to solve it through here, I am creating a platformer game, and I have a mechanic where the platforms shoot you upwards when steppe on them without having to jump directly, and I have been trying to add some jump boots to have bigger jumps when equipped, I have created the equipping mechanic but I can t seem to be able to understand how to make it so that the character jumps higher than usual only once the character picks up the boots, just fyi the platforms have Z value to shoot me up and I want it to be changed only when the boots have been equipped, any help would be wonderful, thank you
