Hi, i am working on a FPS rifle aim and when i aim i want the closest part of the gun to be blurry.
So i need to blur objects really close to the camera.
I’ve played around with Depth Of Field in the Camera Component but couldn’t get any good results.
Hmm not sure if this is what i want.
Can i , by doing this, only blur object/part of objects within, for example , 10cm from the camera and from 10cm+ its clear?
Sure. You’ll have to play with far transition and focal distance values to find the right spot though. So, place a camera in the level and tweak it’s depth of field properties until you get what you want. Then use those values for that BP.
