So I know it might sound weird but let me explain.
I have a main character with some animations when walking, running, and crouching.
Now, I have attached my weapon to the character through the animation using a socket (This is an FPS game).
When my character walks or runs the weapon moves (and shakes a little bit) based on the animation which is good.
But the problem is when I use an ADS camera, my weapon’s shaking becomes annoying and prevents me from having a steady and stable ADS when walking.
So, I’m trying to find a workaround for this. I was wondering if there is still a way to attach a weapon to my character without having those shaking?
Also, I think I might need to create a different weapon object for the ADS. So, when I go into ADS, the real weapon disappears, and it replaces with a new weapon, which is not attached to the animations. But again, it makes me wonder how I can attach that new weapon to the character to move with it. I want the weapon to go forward when walking and go down when crouching along with the character, but I don’t know if there is a way to attach it to the character without having the character animations involved.
