How to apply sound data to simple parameters such as emission intensity

Hi everyone,

I’m new to UE and have been looking into how I can use sound and apply it to certain parameters, particularly I’m looking to control emission intensity from multiple mesh’s.

I’m looking for some advice on how to achieve this and whether it’s something I could achieve in blueprint.

I’ve seen something similar being used in niagara particle system, i’m wondering whether a similar approach can be used for lights and emission mesh’s

Hey

With UE built in sound functions you have basic parameters you can play with, for example:

You can create custom assets for different attenuation, concurrency, etc controls.
There are a lot of assets and ways to play with sounds in Unreal Engine, and external software that can be connected to UE for sound editing and management.
