How to apply Quinn animations to custom NPCs

Hello,

I made a character blueprint, and imported my 3d model into the viewport. It’s rigged from Mixamo, if that helps. I made it to where the model needs to use a blueprint to animate. I applied the Quinn animation blueprint, but the character doesn’t animate. I want to use the Quinn or Manny animation blueprint versus making my own.

Am I missing anything?

Models don’t necessarily need anim blueprints to play animations actually. You can create your own custom anim blueprint to implement certain mechanics’s animations to your character (or you can copy the template one as well if you want) but you’d first need to have animations which you want to be played in the first place. If you want to use the animations that the characters from the template project have on your custom model, you should retarget the animations since they do not share the same skeletal mesh.
