Hey guys, I have a question regarding how to animate these free weapon assets properly.
They are static meshes and are broken up into individual parts like the trigger, base, and bolt.
I was trying how to quickly merge these items together and animate them. I merged them together using a blueprint, and I thought I could use the sequencer tool to make a quick animation using the keys on the weapon part transforms.
However, it seemed to have imported the entire scene after exporting and importing them back into the project.
I have seen some videos describing exporting them and re-importing them as skeletal meshes, but I figure I should ask here before going forward.
My question is, from here what should I do? Should I just open these items in blender and start animating them like that?
