How to Animate A sword flying around a character?

I’m super super new to unreal and I’m trying to figure things out but it’s all so confusing. I have a sword static mesh and it’s attached to a slot on the skeleton of the manny. I made a little animation and got it to play… now I want to animate the sword to fly around the character, almost like its rotating and spinning around the manny. In unity I could make a simple animation via the timeline adding keyframes for position and rotation. How am I supposed to do this in UE5? Do I need to somehow animate the sword separately in a different program? Do I have to do it with code? Can I somehow keyframe animate the slot? Can someone link me to a tutorial or something that would point me in the right direction please?
