is there any way to add variables to the general tab in the details panel without it being the default category?
Blueprints only.
Yes, just rename the field Category and check Instance Editable to be able to change its values in editor. The categories will be shown in alphabetical order in editor but not inside the blueprint:
You can also create nested sub levels by using “|” to separate them:

Hi,
It’s appearing in alphabetical order that i don’t like as it’s not designer friendly. i want the variables for the blueprint i made to be at the top or in the general tab so it’s isolated and clear. thanks
Hi
The option you have is to add a “Custom” Category with sub-levels that will be shown on top of the editor’s Defaults and in alphabetical order.
