Dear All, I'm switching from Lumion and would really like to switch to TM, but, I mostly do exhibition stand-designs with a lot of branding which mostly is done with png's. When I export my model from SU to TM I lost my textures when rendering wit PT on...And when I placed them on a plane just in front of the surface I see a huge shadow. How to solve this? I can't imagine that this is not possible. Thanks!
Hey Pepijn,
Thanks for posting in the community.
For importing a logo in .png format, I'd do what you mentioned: dragging in a small plane primitive, making a new material with your .png file as the texture, then resizing where necessary. If you continue to see this shadow issue, which might require some further investigation from our team, please make a bug report here and include any screenshots of the issue, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible:

Hi Sky,
Thanks for your reply! I actually found a solution and the cause why there is a huge shadow. When you add a png to a plane you must check whether the plane has a back material. If so, that's the one that casts a shadow. When you remove the back material all is fine ;). But thanks again. Oh and please add the round edges option like Lumion and D5! :)) Have a great day and keep up the good work!
