How to add animations from th asp to my tps character

I am new and this is my first attempt at a project.

I used the tps template and downloaded and added the animation starter pack from the market place.
I would like to know how to add those animations to the tps character. is there anyway to do this because I have looked all over youtube and can not find any vids on it. I just want to add all of the asp animations to my character. how?

I think the term you are looking for is animation retargeting. There are lots of tutorials on this topic.

I tried retargeting. I got the message that it was rerargeted but when I open the animations fort the tps character it only has the basic animations that were included with the template.
