How to access Marketplace Content from a Github build of UE5?

I have a build of UE5 5.03 that I compiled from Github the files. I can’t figure out how to download any marketplace content for it. When I try to download a marketplace file, it only wants to open with the Epic Games Launcher (which I didn’t have). I downloaded the Epic Games Launcher, but it doesn’t know I have a version of Unreal Engine on my system since it wasn’t downloaded through the launcher. I can’t find any way to let the launcher know about my existing UE build. Is there a solution here I’m not seeing?

P.S. I can’t just delete this build and download one through the launcher. I need a Github build for specific reasons.

Installing one of the engines from the Launcher won’t interfere with your compiled version - just download 5.1 or something if you have the hard-drive space.

Would that mean I’d have to download assets into a project open in that version of UE and them migrate them over every time? That is a workaround, but I’m hoping there’s a more direct solution that I’m overlooking.

You should be able to download assets directly into any project on your computer once there’s an installed engine. (btw, you can’t migrate backwards).
