How to access actor functions from non-actor blueprint? Should be possible, right?

I have some Axis Mappings setup in project settings. These can be accessed from any actor blueprint by right clicking and searching for them.

Now I need to access those functions from a widget blueprint. I already have a reference to my character blueprint in the widget blueprint, so how would I access the actor functions?

Found a wonderful solution; take the stuff I want to do in my actor blueprint and turn it into a function. Now I can just call that from my widget blueprint by using the reference to my actor blueprint under “Call Function.”
