How take photos for geometry?

Hello

I am training in the Capturing Reality software. For that, I am checking tutorials and sample projects. On the “Processing of datasets from fixed camera rig (full-body scan) using texture layers” project’:

https://support.capturingreality.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020493560-CLI-sample-scripts

There are 2 types of images:

I checked the geometry folder.

I would like to know how to get this type of images. What type of lighting and setup is used?

Thank you so much

Hi Palace-square, these images were taken same way as textured one, but in this case there were also projectors, which projected texture over the model (https://www.pi3dscan.com/)

Hello and thank you for your answer.

If I understand correctly, I can achieve the same result using this projector:

and just project a grid like that:

to the object.

Yes, it is possible for this purpose to use this. But in mentioned case, there were more projectors around the model and also there was different pattern projected on the model. But it should work also with a grid.
