How should I start making a puppet fight

I’ve to create a puppet fight for my assignment on UE4 but I’m pretty new to it. Does anyone has any advice how should I do it? I’ve got my physics assets imported and I’ve already adjusted the collisions.

I played around with cables and physics constraints actor to link the joints but its not working very well. My character falls in an awkward manner.

I would really appreciate if anyone can guide me to the right direction to create a puppet fight with xbox controller to move my puppet afterwards? Thank you! :slight_smile:
