When using the Steam online subsystem, when I try to find available sessions I get no sessions returned and in the log I see “STEAM: Removed incompatible build” a few times. The full line looks like this:
Warning: STEAM: Removed incompatible build: ServerBuildUniqueId = 0x00000584, GetBuildUniqueId() = 0x000000f8
I have searched far and wide, and spent many hours trying to find the cause and a solution for this, but to no avail. I increased the number of results returned in FOnlineSessionSearch, I have set bUseBuildOverride and BuildIdOverride in DefaultEngine.ini, nothing resolves the problem.
Any help with this would be very much appreciated. I have nowhere else to turn after many blog posts that have been no help.
