Hi, we’ve moved from Cryengine to UE4 and this question just came to mind. How many texture sheets is to many, with multiplayer in mind? We try and stick to multiple objects on each texture, minus things like guns or characters. How many is to many for good optimization and fluidity? This game will be somewhat open world with a large amount of users on one server.
I’m not really sure I completely understand your question. But if I do then really there is no hard set limits. It all comes down to the pc running it. There is no real answer you need to set your requirements build some stuff and test the environment until you like you budgets to a particular min specs rig.
