So ive been messing around with the landscape tools and i need some clarification on this. I read somewhere that you can’t have too many layers in a single component but say i wanted to make a big game with tons of variety in the landscape. Can i just add all the different layers in the material editor and set the weights to 0 (so they don’t initially get painted when i first create the landscape or is that even how that works). Thanks in advance.
That depends on the complexity of your layers.
Ultimately, the number of texture samplers is the limit.
