I found a post from 2015 where people were requesting this and it’s still not available? Locking an object would make workflow multiple times easier and I don’t understand how this, a basic feature, still doesn’t exist.
Could the developers please make this a priority!

Hmm yeah there is lock transforms which we use A LOT. Lock from deletion would be cool.
Or else roll them into one. If you don’t want the object moved would assume you probably don’t want it deleted?
Hey there @captaincaveman! Welcome back to the community! I agree the feature itself native to the engine would be great! Though I will note that some developers figured out a way to pull it off and released a plugin for it on the marketplace! It is a paid plugin however. Though if you’re comfortable working with the source, looking into how selections are made, you may be able to work backwards from it for a similar result.
