I have an error caused buy dragging and dropping a set on another set (replacing one with the other: not really important)

First of all, you should report what UE4 version you using.
Then, try to compile UE4 in debug and reproduce the crash, then at least we can see where actually in source code crash has been happened.

You need to setup source control for the source control restore to work. Try setting the project up as a git repo. And if you are losing 10 hours worth of work then you must have changed the auto save settings or turned it off completely.

I am using a pure blueprint implementation and i have no knowledge of how to run in debug mode without having c++ code

I am using the prebuilt version of the engine with no change to settings (other then simulator quality controls)

last time i tried setting up github plugin in a project, the whole thing crashed and became unusable (every time i open the project, it says that the executable is built for another version of ue [4.7] i am using 4.6.1)
