Make it simple, F the graphics, make it interesting.
Games that come to mind: Yatzy, Chess & Tetris.
The best games are thousands of years old.
Throw the ball over the house has more invested playtime than Fortnite to date.
I have probably put 2.000 hours into that game alone during my childhood.
