How do you stop an imported texture from tiling when painting as a layer in landscape?

Hi Guys I have run into an issue that I cant figure out in UE4 despite looking about for answers.I have imported a material image and I wish to use it as a layer on the landscape…but when I try to do so it is heavily tiled which looks bad.I have tried solutions suggested in videos but so far no luck.Any help would be great


I think what you are looking for is to create a seamless tiled texture to use on your terrains. This a very nice tutorial on how to do exactly that, it’s about grass but it will work the same way for your texture.
