How do you scale a skeletal mesh in ADK?

When I open the skeletal mesh of my battle axe while in the preview game and go to Mesh -> Scale Multiplier then change the scaling to what I like(3x size), save, exit the preview, then reopen the preview game the size of the axe is way much bigger so i scale it down the same way and save then reopen the preview and its tiny. Any idea how to fix this?

HAve you tried opening the BP for that item, (the one with the dark blue line), and at the top is scale. You can adjust the default size there and you can also click the Components tab of that same BP, select the mesh in the window to the left then press R to enable the scale tool.

I tried that and same problem. When I saved, compiled, and reloaded it acted like it applied the scaling a second time i.e. if i changed the scaling to 3x it looked fine in pie, closed pie, saved, compiled, and reopened pie the weapon would be 9x larger.

would multiplier take the scale you already had and multiply it?set that to 0 and scale in the manner I said. Just make it bigger in the bp and leave multiplier to 0 and see if that fixes it.
