How do you prevent material stretching?

Here you can see that the texture looks great, right up until I stretch it out… how can I prevent this from happening when I scale meshes? The texture coordinates node alone doesn’t seem to be getting the job done, as I have to adjust it every time, and even then I can’t get it to really work.


Also the side is stretched out even when the top looks good.

If you want to get rid of the texture stretching try using the WorldAlignedTexture node.
