How do you open a project on another computer?

I bought a new laptop & want to use UEFN to finish the projects I was doing on my dying PC.

How would I open those projects from my PC on my laptop? Is it as simple as just copying the project file?

Check-In all changes on your old PC, this will make sure the latest version of your work is saved to Epic servers.

When you install UEFN on your laptop, use your same Epic Profile and when you open the editor, all your projects should be listed in the Open Project window and available to download to your laptop.

Made a mistake. Downloaded the project on my laptop before checking in changes and now that same project is just a blank island when synced. It’s still there on my PC, I enabled revision control on it but it’s still just blank on my laptop.

How do I fix this and get the updated island on my laptop?

Hi Wolflow,

I think at this point all you’d need to do is check-in on your PC. (This will send the project files to the Source Control server)

And then once you open the project on your laptop, it will see that there are new files on the server and give you the option to ‘Sync/Get Latest’ in the bottom right.
