how do you make hair or fur for unreal engine?

i have been trying to figure this out for a while and have yet to come to a conclusion can someone please explain how to make hair or fur for unreal engine?

Either you download the engine with nvidia gameworks or you do it with hair planes (so just planes with a hair texture -> UDK | CreatingHairUsingAlpha). For things like animal fur or beards you could also do it with tessellation (just add plenty of vertices to your mesh + use a displacement map with many dots) :slight_smile: (this is how it looks like with tessellation)
