How do you edit the opacity mask of a material imported from quixel bridge?

Hey, I have imported a material from quixel bridge, and want to put a hole through it using the visibility mode. When i open the material, the material graph is not visible and so i cannot hook up the landscape visibility mask to the opacity mask node. I did notice, though that under the heirarchy there is a parent chain and when i open that there is a material graph. It is called Surface_Material and it looks completely different from when you make a material from scratch, and there is no opacity mask pin.

What can I do?

When the output node is selected, in the details, unselect ‘use material attributes’

thanks a lot, this has worked. I am just curious, i tried to find some stuff explaining what it actually is, but i can’t exactly grasp the concept. Can anyone give me a quick explanation on why it is used?
