How do you add a StaticMesh and Physics to AActor with C++?,How to give an AActor a StaticMesh and physics simulation using C++?

I am currently having issues creating a extension of the AActor class. I want to give it a StaticMesh with physics simulation. I need to be able to choose the mesh and adjust the hitbox through code. It is to be used as a base for items that are pickupable. How would I do this?
