How do I use the buoyancy system with complex collision mesh?

How do I create a collision mesh for my marketplace purchased asset? I export the static mesh to FBX.

Imported it into blender. Then removed the UCX object, its auto collision from UE5, and replaced it with a duplicated mesh of the mesh and applied a decimate modifier to remove some of the vertices.




Once imported it still auto generates collision mesh, and the UCX object doesn’t seem recognized as collision.

The point is that the collision cannot be the shape you made

The collision must stand out from many simple shapes without external sides
