How do I update to unreal Engine 4.23?

I cannot find in the Epic Launcher where/how to update to 4.23, it still says 4.18.3. I tried launching the editor to see if it would auto-update, but it did not. What am I missing?

In the library Tab, click on the “+” sign next to “ENGINE VERSION”. Add the version you’ve downloaded and installed. You can remove the previous versions by clicking on the little arrow in the bottom right corner.

Just come across this after googling how to get to 4.24. Thanks for the info. It’s hardly intuitive! I would never have worked this out.

So that essentially means that there is no way to update? You just download the new version and delete the old one.

Mainly because you can run multiple versions of the Engine on one machine, for older projects and deprecated functionality. That’s why they can’t simply allow you to just update the version you have.
