How do I set up a blueprint to change the spline that follows a spline by pressing a key?

I’m trying to make a blueprint that makes a car change lanes, the simplest way I thought of was to make the car follow a spline then make another spline and by pressing a key to make the other parallel spline be the active one, but the way I’ve implemented that is wrong and don’t know what is the correct way. The ideal way would be to make the car follow a spline and by key press offset the car on x axis to the left or the right of the spline, like strifing, but that is way out off my current knowledge.
