How do I restrict the rotation of the UV mapping on the adjacent face of a cube? It seems that the UV section has a slider to rotate the mapping but it rotates the mapping on both faces and I end up having the wrong orientation on either of the sides.
I have the same issue when trying to use TM material on wood and lumber pieces. The ends and the sides are almost always incorrect regarding how the grain in wood runs on three dimensional objects-rectangular solids mostly. I have found setting the material in my modeling software (Sketchup) which has significantly more adjustability to texture and material placement vs TM and then select Do Not Substitute TM materials when importing as a work around.
Unfortunately the Wood Materials work better for 2d applications like floors rather than for lumber with exposed sides and ends. It looks like the Stone has the same issue. Awaiting a solution or fix to TM UV mapping.
