How do I regain access to a Fortnite island if I don't have the folder with the content?

I formatted my PC and I don’t have the files from my islands, what can I do?

“The project could not be found in the expected location. If it is on your computer, use the Browse button to locate it. Otherwise, you may need to sync it from your version control system.”

How can I sync it from the version control system? Thanks

Did you restore your PC from a backup ?

Close UEFN,

Move the entire Fortnite Projects folder somewhere else, so UEFN cant see it.

Open UEFN

Hopefully you’ll see your project files with a download icon on them
